Server reset or new server?

Open new server - yeah, not bad idea.
Old players are playing for fun, and You can always try to ++ something more :D
About new players there is really easy to catch on, becouse old players can powerlvl them in for example in SoA and they'll get max lvls asap, and also items since there are alot not ++'ed stuff on "old" players.
 

Well, we had this topic many times already, so I'll just say again: it wont hurt us that much if the server is going to be restarted maybe that will encourage new/old players to get on Vanir again. Only thing is needed ADs on re-open.

The fact you dont have good gear yet isn't a reason for restart.

I'm sure the server won't be wiped or restarted ever but there's just a posibility to open a second server in a future. As I say it is just a posibility.

Truth be told, if the server wipes, im leaving, thats 90% at least. Spent too much time with all the inventory and chars i have made, gear, farming.. Ofc those who just come to pvp mostly, wont lose that much. I dont have the desire to pvp, unless forced to, or there are actions like TW / unavoidable circumstances. And all the smart asses that are going to stink their shit about suggestions like "find another game if you dont like pvp", can go and suck on themselves. There isnt written that this is only PVP server, so try and survive cuz its mixed, PVE AND PVP server. PVP can not, and should not be forced upon anyone. For the PVE players, that see the L2 from other side than just satisfying some primal killing instincts, or consider killing someone a fun, wipe would be much harder tolerable than pvp.

New server, yes, sure, I do like the idea. Implement all the bugfixes there, and we could potentially get some new faces for low rate server in the process too!

Another thing, why does a new player has to ask for wipe when he has barely played here? You want the "old" guys lose all they have fkn worked so hard to achieve? Been here for 1 year and 6 months, give or take. And I worked rly hard to get where I am with what I have. There are lots of old players who did this, and even more, to achieve their current state. 

And + to Muzyk, some of those old players, including myself, are doing hell lot to help the newbies get their gear and lvl to speed. Another thing, if you want to be successful here - your own desire to play, contribute and determination. No one likes a guy who is constantly asking for xp and buffs and shit, and cant do anything by himself. Yes, it is class dependant, but remember, you can always make another acc with a char that has higher xp / lvling / farming / spoil /buff etc capabilty than your main. After all, I think your pc should be from stone age if you can not run at least two l2 instances.

Im sorry for harsh language, but new players have to realise - nothing comes from not doing anything.

A new test/pvp server could be such a good idea. We could try a new stuff, check out all those little thingies like different skill ench options, different setups of gear, all the things too hard to be done on a pve server, although I doubt that admin would want to waste extra money on it :c

Wiping a pve server on the other hand is like "Fu, old players, imma the boss here!". Ain't gonna happen! (Or at least I humbly believe so)

P.S. The heck it is with crystals, I recall hearing that stuff during tw a several times as well :D

So yeah, the only option we have is a new server paralel to Bartz so nobody loses any of their progress throughout all this years. As I said I don't know much about how a new server would be like, it could be a lower rate or a PvP server I'm not sure at all.

In my opinion, I would like to see a low rate server without buffer and the 1h buffs, I think that disabled so many classes in the game and made Fighters much stronger.
