Not sure if it’s a bug or intended.
When I exit the game from a char with shop, the client closes in my computer but the char is still logged in the server. I can see it from other session and buy from it and so with no problems.
Didn’t made a lot of tests in other situations, but it seems to not happen when I exit the game with no shop established.
First time I noticed, was afraid that got my account hacked :D
