WIPE & RE-OPEN

Well, this idea was in many people's mind for quite a while and everybody thought it could be a good idea, but think about old players who have tons of items/chars and etc., who worked so hard and long to get where they are now. Server is dead because it was summer and etc. and you can't do anything about it.  You don't even know if re-opening will work out and server will attract more people. I'm pretty sure that activity of people after re-opening will be for a short period. It happens in all servers, that's why servers do wipes and re-openings so often. Maybe GMs should do that "Advertising Event" again, to advertise server and try to attract more people, if that will not work (and I think it won't, because some of new players don't want to play in "old" server, because people have so much stuff already) it should be wipe'd, but GMs can't decide alone, because this will affect us all, it should be a poll or something, and all community should vote for this server's future.

Wipe is a bad idea. For example i would like to start playing on a new/wiped server where everyone has equal chances, but come on, after some time some people will leave and some people will join. I don't want the server to close after 6 months though.
Some people want to start playing on an old server because its stable and very likely not going to fall soon so they know their farming time won't go to waste and they will have the time to catch up with elders and achieve something.

Hi guys, we always appreciate feedback but we have no plans to wipe here ever.  We've talked about the possibility of opening a lower rate server with more retail like elements, bit if we did that it wouldn't be until our existing server was bug free.

The best way to help new players stay is to befriend them, clan them, and help them!  We've seen a lot of new people lately and it looks like they're sticking around!

The first thing that we look on our server is having our players satisfied, and we don't like the idea of wiping the server and thus making every player lose everything, that's why we follow and support the no-reset thingy.

We have plans on making a new server without wiping the actual one, one server diferent than the actual one aswell, since we don't want to divide the population that likes our actual settings.

Athought the idea of making the server is just an idea, it's not going to take place in any time near or maybe ever, who knows.

Wiping the server is a stupid idea. Only idiots come up with that idea.  There are so many servers out there.  Choose one coming out tomorrow.  There is proabbly 10 of them.  Then after everyone donates they will wipe server and change its name again.  Join one of those.

I think that a new rule should be applied: "Look at forum before to post" why? , just because people get so tired when a old discussion/problem which have been solved/closed start again over and over.
