Barter and trade more

Hi everyone
I wanted to talk a little about income multiplier. I don't know how to explain it properly in english, but i'll do my best.

When you buy a chocolate bar you lose 2$ but you have chocolate. The person who sold you candy lost a chocolate bar but gained 2$. With that 2$ the seller can buy something for himself and be happy with the item, and 2$ will pass on making more people happy. My teacher said something like "when you spend 100$ the country is richer by 110$" because of the income multiplier. The multiplier is different for each country (it depends on many things, for example taxes). If you keep 2$ and save up you lose some money due to inflation and "freeze" the market (the candy merchant has to wait longer to sell the chocolate bar and on and on and on).

I'm not a master of economy, i may understand some things wrong, but i think people here on Vanir don't trade enough.
Call it low population, big prices of everything and that it takes a long time to farm, but in my opinion most people just don't want to trade - they'd rather do everything themselves, be 100% independent. I approve of independence, but it's ineffective. What do you think it means when a trade is "good for both sides"?
Think about synergy
2+2=5
2+0=1
Please think more about spending your hard-earned money rather than thinking "Meh, not gonna give this bastardo any money, i'd rather grind ineffectively for hours farming what he sells".
I don't want to be rude or support reckless or overpriced buys, but in my opinion it would be best for everyone if there were more trades on this server.

Also, if you think that the price offered to you is unfair, but you're interested in the trade: don't give up, don't get angry, try to barter and make the price better. Doesn't hurt to try and it helps make the trade good for both sides.

Re: Barter and trade more

I trade equipment for equipment all the time.  I do not typically deal in adena.
