Cannot connect to the server?

Below you have a list of things to do if you cannot connect to the server.

1. Add L2.exe to your firewall's exception list, or try to disable it for a while. If disabling it solves your problem you should add L2.exe to your firewall's exception list instead of disabling your firewall.
2. Try to disable temporally your Antivirus. If this solves your problem you will need to configure it properly to play without disabling it.
3. Flush your DNS:

   Windows 98/NT/2000/XP:
   Open up a command prompt (Start > Run > cmd.exe > OK).
   Type in the command ipconfig /flushdns

   Windows Vista / Windows 7:
   Click the start button and navigate to the command prompt (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt)
   Make sure that you right click on the command prompt application and choose "Run as Administrator" 
   Type in the command ipconfig /flushdns

   If you use a router, you will also need to unplug the power from it for 30 seconds.
