I have seen a little confusion on the server about the newly instated Moderators, and what exactly their purpose is. The staff has selected a few players to assist us with keeping chat clean of foul language and non-English in shout. We created a specific command for these players so they could speak in shout chat without using their character names. They were issued this command so they would be able to warn players new to the server about the rules here. Sometimes a moderator may like to issue a warning to a veteran player before a chat ban as well. They have specific instructions on how to deal with people who repeatedly break the server rules. Those players know who they are, and should not act surprised when they receive longer and longer chat bans.
Moderators are asked not to favor people of their clan or country, and any Moderator seen to be doing so will be replaced. We did not select these Moderators randomly, and the staff here has complete faith in them to help us and do their job correctly. Of course, as always, if you feel you have been chat banned unfairly, it is best to send a screenshot of the chat and the ban received to a GM or Ignis, and we will review it. Every ban given is logged.
Respect these Moderators as you would any other member of the staff, bad mouthing them will receive the same punishment as bad mouthing myself or Ignis.
