Game will not start.

Hello, i just downloaded, installed and patched the game, but when i start it i get the following error : 

I use Windows 8 64bit operating system. If anyone has any idea whats going on, please help me out. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I found **link removed since is not needed anymore** in other post, and it fixed the problem. Sorry for spam.

Thats a very good post, I think it will help a lot of people with windows 8 since its hard yo find that files. Windows 8 uses direct x 11 minimum and freya needs 10, thats Why u has the problem. Good yo know there is a solution already, thanks for ur help

You can play with w8. 
Only I have to download the system or I have to download other files?
