I'm sorry I cannot put exact words to this. Usually when my avatar jumps off from steep slope such as in the forgotten temple area this would happen. Please see attached screenshot.

When this happens,u have to use soe or if u dont have any soe use /unstuck

this happens at places where the Geodata doesn't work properly.
Use the tips karmina gave you.
