I had the same problem all of you do, with L2 crashing apon launch when using Windows 8. I did some digging on the forums, and Ignis posted a link to some DLL files that fix the problem.
Lineage II works perfectly on Windows 8, once you copy the DLL's found here (**link removed since is not needed anymore**) to your Lineage II system folder. (the link was posted by Ignis him/herself).
You were mistaken with the file, I edited your post with the correct one and I sticked the post aswell.
I want to add it to l2vanir patch.

Well, hello.
Yesterday I created my account, played for a while and disconnected. Now, I cannot get into the game. I downloaded the win8 files, but the problem is that everytime I try to log in, I got a critical. Now, when reinstalled like four times, I got l2.bin error. What should I do?
EDIT: Now I got critical when selecting the server. Sometimes, even when logging.

Amuria you don't need the win8 files, please download the L2Vanir patch, install it and open the updater and wait, then click start.
