One issue that my wife and I had with retail L2, was the vitality system. We didn't get to play often, but somehow we played enough to constantly run out of vitality. We found that we purposfully ignored the game for lengths of time, for our vitality to refill, because leveling at 1x experience was no where near as gratifying as it was with a 400% bonus. I understand why it was implimented (similar to rested EXP in WoW), but for a game like L2 where it's grind central, I think it's missed it's mark.
On this server with the rates at 10x, vitality or no vitality it's a really great experience - however I think things like revitapops should be made more readily available. Perhaps an option to purchase with straight adena (outside of player shops), or a weekly auto allowance (automatic mail or NPC gift) of a stack of 5.
