Your protocol version is diffrent, get that error all the time now.
I have searched the forum for help about this, but my efforts have been unsuccessful.
What can i do to mend this problem? and why is it occurring?

Solved it by adding exception to antivirus and firewall.
My bad, not solved.. just worked the one time. :/

Just restart client when you encounter the "protocol version blabla" error
That THING occurs to me some times too. And my firewall is fine. Two different computers, and also Roxy's pc has this from time to time. Usually happens when you click the Confirm button too fast when logging in. Sometimes it takes approx 5-10 mins to get back on with that respective account, sometimes it just moves on and lets you in.. really weird s . . . . ugar.
