I get this error from time to time.. I have read the forums and there seems there is no general solution for this, right?
Just reinstall and patch.. that worked the last time i did it.
But I am wondering why this occurs? I have changed nothing on my computer from the last time i played just turned it off and now after a reboot
I get this message again. It's rather irritating and anoying.
Can some one please enlighten me.

reinstall and repatch did'nt work this time. flushdns and disable fw did nothing. now what? :/
1. maybe your firewall? .. make an exception for L2.exe
2. antivirus? ... just to be sure make an exception there too ...
3. will try to think of something more ....
[EDIT] 3a. with the antivir idea .. try to run L2 with your antivirus turned off temporary and see what happens. IF that's the case making an exception for L2.exe in your antivirus software shoud fix it ...
You should try to run it as administrator as well.
Tried it all, had no effect..
but now it works again.. strange this i tell you :)
Very annoying.. should be a logical explanation to this error. Just don't seem to be able to figure it out.
