Lithuenne, i'm happy that you come to try us with your ideas. Well, the toggles dont will be active all the time... and the Dagger's toggles dont increase damage that much.
The problem is:
The server lose players everyday! All Mage players that Joined in my clan leave in 2 weeks. Its always the same. Look at Hero Monuments... what say about Necromancer, SpelSingers, SpelHowler, Sorceror's... The only mages that Plays here are SH. Just open your eyes.
I dont think that one simple test will be so problematic for server.
I'm an Evas Templar, i dont have problems with Mana, i'm trying help the others.
Seriously that all of you dont understand how one server with (in my opinion) the best configuration of Donates, the best scheme of Create Accounts/Forum, one of the bests GEODATA... NEVER RAISE!
We can try change it.
I'm cardinal (so lets say a mage since I exp in Inquisitor form) and I've never ever had a problem with MP here. I don't have boxed SE/EE, pets or anything to help me with mp, but there are just so many nice spots for exping which drop MP herbs that I have no idea why mages leave the server. Hot springs? Varka/Ketra? Primeval? Isle of prayer (although not that pro exp) ? and so on.... IMHO it's just difficult to raise server population since L2 official is now free to play. Also I think the closer server stays to retail the better since I came to play L2 not some custom version of it.
So yea I'm puzzled by this unhappiness about MP regen....and with all those nice suggestions here whats the problem? Cheers.
The official server isn't a real problem. There, from each 3 players 5 are botters... there u'll find a whole party from only 1 man, all the 9~7 chars active, what it mean? BOT.

I guess the server don't have nothing atractive to new players, (i don't know how i fell here, but i like this server :D). Take a look, the other servers on the TOP 100 Arena (where we are suposed to vote, i guess u vote, right dudes?) There we have some other low rated servers, but with different events, buffs and etc. Another point is, this is a Freya Server. Freya server isn't atractive, we have less options on things to do, farm places and other things. Freya is a transition server as Gracia Epiloge. They offer nothing special (as we don't have Elegia drops active and Vorpal is almost impossible to get the full set) and lost the main thing in this update these sets. OFC ppl will find a High Five server, I prefer a High Five server, but i won't leave this server, cause i like here (as i already said), i have friends here, a new family. But it's time to the staff think on changes.
I DON'T MEAN UPDATING THIS SERVER TO THE HIGH FIVE VERSION, I'M NOT ASKING THIS. But it is one thing to consider.
Mana isn't a problem for mages ON PVE dudes, PVE, or killing players already started to drop some mana herbs? i hasn't seen it yet...
Well, idk what to say :) a TEST of mana regen 2x wouldn't hurt.

Any update to h5 or GoD will destroy the server instantly, so there is no point in even conisdering it. I dont see problem with mana here (playing as SlH), but becouse many ppl whine about it, maybe we should try 1-2 week test time with higher mp regen. Of course mp regen x2 is too much, imo it should be +20%~40%.
Some Mages, healers here said: "I dont have problem with mana, i can farm where drop mana". Guys what we are saying its more than farm. Nowadays, we have movement in this server only in TW, Siege, and last days of month in oly, all we see is a endless farm. When I say about pve and pvp, of course, pve you can do many things to solve mana problem (as I posted one way, the first post in this topic), But, In pvp and another areas where dont drop herbs, mana is a problem yes. and its not only mages who have problem, for example. Daggers, warriors, and even suports like songer/dancer. Mana would be a BIG problem in a pvp that last more. the mana regen rate I suggest to be tested intend to make pvp and other situations more "free". without you needing to back to city after every rush.
I dont think change to H5 is the way, I agree with Lanerso (he didnt asked for it with you didnt noticed), but server need changes to be more "alive". the big problem here is, many players that answer this post said: "I dont have problems with mana", others that I talked to in game said: "I dont care with mana regen increases or not".
come on guys, since I started playing here, many people asked for mana improvement. some asked for mana pots (what I DISAGREE), and others asked for mana rege (I agree). If we here in this server dont start listen to another ones needings (the ones what are reasonable), will stay here only the guys who dont have mana problems and their mana herbs. Pretty enjoyable hum? What Haron said is true, we lost a lot of players, they enter, farm, and go away. because of mana, because of server Inertia. This sugestion is a try to improve server, its not a try to change it to a pvp server (before a dump say this), I dont think more regen mana will ruin server or pvp. WE DO NEED CHANGES. Or will stay here a dozen players with full boss jewell, hero count x20, weapon and armor +16, and nothing to do.

Our clan is always losing pll cause of the mana regen :/
