Windows 8 problem with launch!

Dear beloved admin,
are you serious by saying that you are going to ignore the problem and send out people with windows 8 to other servers? Because apparently it is not so hard to make it work. After doing 5 minutes of research I actually saw that a lot of servers fixed this problem within hours, so they users could enjoy a nice game of L2.

I try to get l2 work in a windows 8 environment, but in a virtual machine, the only problem is the body of the characaters.

Could you try this please?

It works with no problem so far. Thank you a lot for the help and thumbs up for the good job.
I would advice to make the topic sticky and put those files on top. I think a lot of users will be happy about it.

I want to put it in the patch installer, this files also work on windows 7, XP and so on.

I just had to install VMware to run Lineage2 because I got Windows 8. Win8 isnt that bad as some ppl say. Its quite cool especialy the start window thingy. Anyway. In Win8 i always got the AGP error (dont know why because AGP is enabled... maybe because i am using a laptop) and the game stops loading and quits. In VMware (Ubuntu) its running very well. I still get te AGP error but the game keeps loading. If there is any need I could create a little tutorial how to install VMware, ubuntu and how to run L2 on it

I think your problem is not related to Windows 8. What video card do you have?

Intel HD Graphic (onboard) - But in VMware its running perfectly
Within my bios there is no configuration for graphicsand in my directx settings there is everything enabled.
Besides... On my old PC years ago I got a far worse graphic card than this one and had no problems
